The Pool Doctor is comprised of a number of experienced and qualified professionals who are dedicated to providing clients with an unforgettable pool design, building, and maintenance experience. We understand the importance of providing a quality product and quality service that is unmatched throughout the area.  Meet the team - Ron Leclerc

Ron Leclerc

Owner & Founder

Ron Leclerc Owner & Founder

Ron has been in the pool industry since 1984 when he began working for the former RI based pool builder; Weatherking. His combined easy-going disposition, integrity, respect for hard work and over 30 years of industry experience (Construction, Service and Retail) allows him to understand each customer’s needs. As a Certified Building Professional®, he has been tested and certified by APSP; the world's largest trade organization of professional pool and spa builders. He personally oversees each new construction project, renovation and all of the service portion of the business. Ron loves to be outdoors and It is common for him to pick-up any loose ends and schedule his own service calls. In his limited time off, Ron enjoys working on his home, walking his dog Koda-Bear, spending time in Florida and of course, he loves all things related to Disney.

 Meet the team - Debbi Leclerc

Debbi Leclerc

Debbi Leclerc Co-Owner

Debbi began working with her husband, Ron in 1989 servicing pools just to spend time together. She quickly learned that she loved the pool industry and put her natural talent of loving people to use with The Pool Doctor’s customer base. Debbi developed a strong bond with the retail end of the business and it remains her "Baby" to this day. She loves to spend time assisting customers, testing water and trouble-shooting problem pools as well as just working the sales floor. She is active with APSP and recently served on the Retail Council for over eight years and is also a Certified Building Professional®. She has a deep affection for Christmas and Disney and always has a count-down going. Debbi enjoys spending time in the kitchen; cooking and baking in her spare time and of course - spending time in Florida.

Tawni Key Retail Team Member

Tawni has been part of The Pool Doctor team since 2013. She initially began in a seasonal position but quickly earned the right to be a permanent member of The Pool Doctor. Tawni is a BioGuard Water Care Expert as well as Certified Salt Pool Expert and enjoys the challenge of clearing green water. Her sense of humor is loved by all. She loves playing hockey in a men's league in her free time and is an avid Bruins fan.

Nancy Key Retail Team Member

Nancy has been with The Pool Doctor since 2010. She originally was a customer who loved the water clarity that the BioGuard line gave her own pool. She came on board and hasn't looked back since. She is a BioGuard Water Chemistry Expert and is always happy to assist our customers. Nancy enjoys spending her spare time focusing on her family and being a Cheer-Mom, Wresling-Mom and Racing-Mom with some extra time at the beach when time allows.

Linda began working at The Pool Doctor in 2018. She quickly fit into the team and customers love her sincere goal to make each customer happy. She is a BioGuard trained Water Chemistry Expert and loves all that there is to learn in the pool industry. She enjoys working on her new home, working in the yard in her free time and spending time with her son.

Bobby started working at The Pool Doctor in 2017 on a part time basis. Bobby enjoys helping customers, testing water and helps keep the warehouse in an orderly fashion due to his experience as a Manager at UPS. He holds a degree in Criminal Justice and enjoys spending his spare time working out at the gym and staying physically fit.

Jay S. Crew Chief - Vinyl & Major Restoration

Jay began working for The Pool Doctor in 1994. He heads the vinyl liner division and is frequently overseeing other major restoration projects simultaneously. Jay is a perfectionist and takes his trade very seriously; his skills range from troweling pool bottoms, underground plumbing repairs, difficult safety cover installations to intricate spa repairs. He is quick to smile and known for his politeness. He enjoys frequent work-outs at the gym and a round of golf when extra time permits.

Dave F. Crew Chief - Gunite & Major Restoration

Dave joined us in 2015 and has over 16 years of experience in gunite/pebble Tec swimming pools. He heads our gunite restoration division and is frequently involved in other projects simultaneously. His expertise spans from locating underground leaks, crack repairs, surface repairs and resurfacing as well as tile repair and replacement. Dave enjoys spending time with his niece and riding his Harley Davidson when the weather is right and time permits.

Frank M. Head Service Technician

Frank began working for The Pool Doctor in 1994 and has over thirty years of experience in the swimming pool industry. You will find Frank opening and closing your swimming pool on a yearly basis, installing and/or servicing pumps, filters, heaters and any other aspect of a swimming pool that requires a professional touch. Frank has vast knowledge of the industry including manufacturing, installation and service but is best known for his thoroughness. His training and certifications include Hayward, Polaris, AquaCal, BioGuard and more. He enjoys everything Disney and as much golf as he can play in his spare time.

Jay has been with The Pool Doctor since 1999. He specializes in openings and closings as well the installation and service of pumps, filters, heaters, and salt generators. Jay also enjoys working on and repairing spas and hot tubs. Jay is known for his light hearted attitude and customers love him. His training and certifications include Hayward, Polaris, AquaCal, BioGuard and more. Jay likes to spend his extra time with his family or outdoor in the fresh air.

Bob came on board with The Pool Doctor in 2010. He can be found opening and closing pools, making general repairs, changing sand and any other duty requested of him. Bob is a quiet, respectful team player and we are happy to have him as part of our team. Bob enjoys spending his extra time with his family, golfing and traveling to Disney World whenever possible.

Jay began working as part of our team in 2010. You will find Jay opening and closing pools but he also has a full work load maintaining swimming pools on a weekly basis. He is a happy, go-lucky kind of guy with an infectious smile and his customers adore him. Jay's pool sparkle with the conscientious care he takes in caring for them. Jay spends his extra time playing with his young son and working on his home.

Ronald has been building swimming pools since 1976 and has been building our custom swimming pools since 1996. He is meticulous in all that he does so you can rest assured that your new pool will have his personal touches added. You can count on every installation being held to the highest of standards with no exceptions. Ronald is not only an extremely hard worker but a smart worker. He enjoys spending his spare time woodworking and refinishing antique furniture.

Koda-Bear Store Mascot

Koda is a loving, loyal and mild mannered Chocolate Lab. He spends his time at The Pool Doctor whenever the store is open for business. He loves children and welcomes the opportunity to greet new and return customers whenever he can. He is often sleeping by the front counter but rolls over as soon as anyone approaches to pet him. He is named after the Disney movie Brother Bear and his name means "Friend" in Sioux Indian – a name that fits his disposition to a tee!
